Tremont Harbormaster Selected
Tremont, Maine – On Monday, The Select Board confirmed Town Manager Jesse Dunbar’s appointment of Spencer Gianinoto as the new Harbormaster for Tremont. Ginaninoto will replace Harbormaster Justin Seavey, who has been filling in one day a week since September when the position became vacant. Gianinoto will officially assume this role on Monday, November 20th.
Previously, Gianinoto served as the wharf manager of a private wharf in Stonington, so he has a good knowledge of what a working waterfront is like, and what it takes to work with all parties involved in that setting. He resides in Trenton with his wife and children.
We are excited to have Spencer take the helm of the Harbormasters office, the outgoing Harbormaster and the Town Manager are looking forward to working with him to make it a successful transition.
