Tremont Deputy Code Enforcement Officer
Tremont, Maine – On Monday June 20th, Tremont Town Manager Jesse Dunbar appointed Sarah Abbott as the new Deputy Code Enforcement Officer for Tremont. Abbott will serve as Deputy CEO in Tremont Tuesday-Thursday, with Wednesday being a half day. Monday, half day Wednesday, and Friday Abbott will be contracted to Southwest Harbor to serve as their Deputy CEO. She will be training alongside our current CEO, John Larson. Larson remains the towns plumbing inspector while Abbott works on obtaining her LPI certification.
Previously, Abbott served as Deputy Clerk for the Town of Southwest Harbor, as well as a teller at Bar Harbor Bank & Trust. She is pursuing her CEO certification from the State Fire Marshalls Code Enforcement program.
Abbott is a resident of Tremont, along with her husband and their son.
